Setting goals

Setting goals does not have to be so daunting. Consider this: You work 24 days out of a 30 day month and take the other 6 days off; say you wait on 3 customers a day and do a good job with each of them, you will have waited on 72 customers. With each customer you provided a walk around and demonstration, and then negotiated numbers with 75% of them, or 54 customers. If you closed 35% of that 54 you negotiated with, you would have sold 18.9 vehicles. If you average $275.00 per car, you would have made $5197.50 for the month. Multiply by 12 months and you will make $62,370.00 for the year. Not to mention in your third and fourth years in the business you will start to benefit from repeat and referral customers. Make sure you are tracking your ups and how far you get with them. You may be doing better than you think.
