I am a salesperson at heart and I can tell you from experience there is nothing worse than having to work for a manager that has never taken an up. You don’t have to be a top salesperson to be a great manager. However, no one should ever put in a manger’s position, that hasn’t sold cars, and that definitely includes F&I mangers.
